A Lesson To Remember

I turn away from Shaytaan, the cursed one..and, i begin, in the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.....

Just wanna share with all readers...

Narrated by Abu Huraira :

I heard Allah's Messenger, Muhammad SAW saying : The first of the people whose case will be decided on the Day of Judgment will be a man who died as a martyr. He will be brought forth.
Allah will make him know about His blessings (which He had bestowed on him in the world). The man will acknowledge them. Then Allah will ask him : What did you do with them? He will say : I fought in Your way until I died as a martyr. Allah will remark : You are lying. You fought so that you may be called a brave warrior. Then orders will be passed against him. So he will be dragged along on his face and cast into Hell.

Second will be a man who studied (religious) knowledge. Then he taught it to others and recited the Qur'an. He will be brought (for Judgment). Allah will remind him of His favors (showered on him in the world). He will admit them (having enjoyed them in his life). Then Allah will ask him : What did you do with them? He will reply : I acquired knowledge and imparted it and also recited the Qur'an for Your sake. Allah will observe : You have told a lie, for you obtained knowledge to be a renowned scholar; and you recited the Qur'an to be recognized as a Qari (one who recites the Qur'an according to the rules). Then orders will be passed against him. So he will be dragged along on his face and thrown into Hell.

Third will be a man to whom Allah had made abundantly rich and granted him every kind of wealth. He will be brought for judgment. Allah will let him know about His gifts conferred upon him in the world. He will recognize them. Then Allah will inquire : What did you do with them? He will say : I left no way in which you like money to be spent without spending in it for Your sake. Allah will say : You are lying. You did so to be known as a generous person (in society); (It means you got your reward in the world according to your intention). Now you deserve nothing in the Hereafter except Hell. So orders will be passed against him and he will be dragged along on his face until he will be hurled into Hell.

[This Hadeeth is sound and related by Muslim and An-Nasa'i]

In a nutshell, i can conclude as :
"Innamal a'malu binniyat" (Indeed all actions are based on the intentions).

Wassalam...

Why I Wanna Be A 7 Stars Doctor??

Hye readersssss!!! May peace be upon all of u! :D Hmmm...as today is my offday from working, and since long time i never "touch" this blog, i would like to share an essay of mine.....this short essay is actually requested by my current Orthopaedic Head of Department...it's one of the 5 requirements before entering Orthopaedic & Traumatology Department posting, Sungai Buloh Hospital...

Why I want to be a doctor??
By : Hazwani binti Abdul Raffar

Why I want to be a doctor? This question always running in my mind since I was young. Hmmm…may be from others’ mirrors, being a doctor is a symbol of high respect, glamourous and wealth, but for me being a doctor is not only for getting all that, and not only about treating other people. It also includes being a role model and a symbol of humanity. Being a doctor is not depend on hardwork and intelligence alone, it also need a deep interest along with passion. This passion and desire of wanting to help people is the feeling that keeps on encouraging me to be a doctor. Since my childhood, I realized that I am more sensitive to my surroundings. I care about other people’s problems and I always hope to be able to help them.

I struggled hard since primary school to enter medical school, during my first year in medical school, I thought that becoming a doctor just need to pass exams and obtaining a degree after five to six years study but medical school had corrected me that I was wrong. Becoming a doctor is not just passing exams and obtaining a degree at the end of five to six years. Medicine involves treating patients, and hence once has to have good communication skills, be able acquire new skills besides being able to develop charisma and self-confidence. I have learnt a lot during that five years time in medical school. Alhamdulillah.

My father always encourage me by telling that relieving the suffering of others is one of the things that are very much encouraged to be perfomed according to Prophet Muhammad PBUH.  There is no better job in trying to achieve this than being in medical field. People who come to a doctor are those with some form of suffering, be it physical or mental. I always imagine and hope that I can make change to others lives so that they will have more quality of lives. By being a doctor, I have the ability and opportunities to make a difference in people’s lives.

Besides, being a doctor had taught me to always remain organized, consistent, and disciplined. Working as a doctor makes me really appreciate with time. Yeah, may be a full 24 hours off day is just like normal to others who are not a doctor, but for a doctor, I believe if he/she gets a 24 hours off day, he/she will really appreciate that ‘short’ period of time and indirectly will force him/her to always think, select and decide the priority things to do. This will lead me to be an organized and disciplined person.

Last but not least, i really want to be a doctor because of my religion, for the sake of my Islam. There is a hadith states that whenever a person leaves his/her houses with the intention of helping another human being, Allah will rewards him/her with the blessing equivalent to someone who perfoms "iktikaf" inside the mosque for a month. So, a doctor who leaves his/her house to help other people will get the blessing from Allah all day long, provided he/she is sincere and does not expect any direct reward from the person that he/she helps.

I pray to Allah, may i become a good muslimah doctor through out my life, InshaAllah.....

P/s: Sooo........HOW MANY STARS U WANNA GIMME??? hehehe...:D

As a new dad, you may feel unprepared for the arrival of your baby. The following tips are intended to help you minimise the pre-baby jitters in order to get through it with the minimum amount of fuss.

TIPS FOR FATHERS-TO-BE :

1. Keep yourself in the loop.
Active participation with your wife's pre-natal check ups keep you updated with her pregnancy progress
and helps connect you with each other.

2. Be attentive to the 'new' mother.
Not every pregnancy is the same, so be sensitive to your wife's needs and moods. Keep in mind that she
might be having trouble adjusting to her "new" self too, so endure these changes in whatever way that works best for the both of you. Make sure you discuss how you can help throughout her pregnancy and delivery.

3. Discuss your concerns.
You do not need to look very far for support, talk to your wife about anything that you are worried about.
You may also want to discuss your anxiety with other experinced dads. Do no b afraid to ask any questions if you have doubt.

4. Take care of your health.
You will need to handle many new challenges, you baby's delivery, mother and baby's home-coming, and post-partum care for your wife. That is not including the time you'll need to spend caring for your child as he or she grows up. So, it's in everyone's interest for you to stay healthy. Start eating right and make sure you get enough exercise and rest.

5. Support each other.
Parenting should be handled together, so you will need to be mutually supportive of each other. Try to hlp out your wife as much as you can, and above all, be sure to communicate your expectations with each other.

6. Take time to discuss money matters.
If possible, discuss financial issues and negotiate each other's roles in parenting beforehand, preferably before your baby arrives, in order to avoid stress or conflicts later.

7. Spend quality time together.
Pregnancy can bring you closer, so make the most of this opportunity by talking with each other about your feelings, insecurities, worries, joys, and everything else you want to share. You will need to support each other so take advantage of this special time to bond and strengthen your relationship.

The last thing to remember is ---> embrace your fatherhood with a positive outlook as you are about to embark upon the most exciting and rewarding experience of your life.

Apricot Seeds as An Anticancer and A Cancer Bidder

Apricot is believed originated from China where the fruit has been planted since 4000 years ago. The fruit is also grown in India and Tibet. Apricot is also known as a health food by the medical practitioners in Greek, while the Romans dedicated this fruit to Venus, the goddess of their love. Apricot was introduced in Europe during the time of Alexander the Great.

Apricot is included in subasid class. More acid can be obtained when the fruit is not fully ripe yet. The acidity began to decline, while its sweetness will increase when the fruit is in the process to ripe. Apricot has seeds that contain many nutrients. Fruits, seeds, oil and flowers of apricot fruit was used in the medical field for centuries.

In Chinese medicine, one of the drug called 'Gold Apricot' is made from apricot seeds that grown in certain areas. This drug is said to prolong life. Apricot
is also very good for patients with anemia due to iron deficiency (IDA), as it contains lots of iron minerals. Although small copper contained in this fruit, but it can make the iron minerals are used by the body.

APRICOT SEEDS

Apricot seeds (Apricot kernels) are a group of nut and seed (legumes and cereals). There is no difference with the other beans and grains. What make it different is the nutritional content in it is very unusual. In the language of nutrients, apricot seeds is referred to Amigdalin, also known as vitamin B17.

B17 can help to kill cancer cells in our body, a result can free ourselves from this vicious disease (cancer). It is a silent killer.

Amigdalin (Vitamin B17) can be found in hundreds of plants. In the diet, we should have B17. If there is no B17 in your diet, your risk to get cancer is higher. Apart from apricot seeds (Apricot kernels), B17 can also be obtained from bitter almonds (amigdalin has bitter taste), apple pips, grape seeds, berries, beets, orange seeds and other seeds.

There are many ways you can use to fight cancer. One is the way to build your immune system so that it is very strong and can protect you from cancer. Another is to use a supplement with antioxidants which fight carcinogens in the body.

However, B17 in a very unique way, directly attack cancer cells and the result is much better than the way that mentioned above.

Studies on the first Amigdalin has been done over 100 years ago. Listed in pharmacological dictionaries that Amigdalin is a non-toxic materials. However there is one chemical element in B17 compound called "cyanide". It is chemically inert and harmless to normal living tissues.

We know that our bodies are creating cancer cells all the time. Normally, the immune system can kill the cancer cells. But when you are in "stress" or your body is in very poor condition and are regularly exposed to the carcinogenic environment, this situation will make the cancer cells become so powerful it can not be destroyed by the immune system.

B17 from Apricot seeds collaboration with the immune system will kill the cancer cells directly. An enzyme inside the cancer cells that can open a "chemical bond" is integrated in the B17 to produce cyanide. So, the cyanide in B17 will release from its chemical bonds. When the cyanide was released, it will directly kill the cancer cells. In healthy cells, such enzyme can not be found. That is why B17 would not work on the healthy cells.

B17 is only responsive to abnormal cells in the human body, including cancer cells, tumors, acne or haemorroid. If there is excess cyanide produced from the metabolic response to cancer and cyanide enters your bloodstream, it will be neutralized by the liver. Liver will work harder to neutralize toxic substances in our body. So w can see the effect of liver damage due to cleaning of waste. But not damage from cancer. So if our body is overloaded with toxins and not removed from the body, we might also be suffering from liver cancer.

Researchers at Imperial College London have been experimenting using cyanide to eliminate cancer cells, from the result, they found that cyanide or any other toxins in the blood is rapidly neutralized by the liver.

Amigdalin sometimes referred to Vitamin B17 and is found in nitriloside rich in fruits and vegetables. It has been used as a primary therapy to treat cancer patients, in some clinics around the world.

Therefore the alternative to eat 10-12 Apricot kernels per day hopefully can protect ourselves from getting cancer and as a therapy to the cancer patients. This is a good news for those who is looking for self-care alternative.

Note: Apricot kernels should be chewed or crushed and sprinkled in daily food or blended with fruit. Practiced by 5 to 6 times a day.

Yearly Dementia Test :P

It's that time of year for us to take our annual senior citizen test. Exercise of the brain is as important as exercise of the muscles. As we grow older, it's important to keep mentally alert. If you don't use it, you lose it! Below is a very private way to gauge how your memory compares to the last test. Some may think it is too easy but the ones with memory problems may have difficulty. Take the test presented here to determine if you're losing it or not. The spaces below are so you don't see the answers until you've made your answer.
OK, relax, clear your mind and begin...
